The President met with the local leadership, chairmen of the Councils of People's Deputies, legislators in the assembly hall of the Grigoriopol administration. The format of the event is interactive. Vadim Krasnoselsky answered questions, listened to requests and suggestions. He began the conversation by mentioning a significant fact for Grigoriopol: the settlement regained its status of a city exactly 19 years ago, on June 17, 2002. It was considered an Urban-Type Settlement prior to that for a long period of time. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is not enough to be called a city, it is necessary to correspond to the status, and Grigoriopol strives to keep up with other cities, developing the economy, improving the infrastructure.
Among the topics of the conversation - foreign policy, traditional for this kind of collective meetings, the course of the negotiation process: background, current state of affairs, prospects and influence on various spheres of the republic's life. They talked about the vehicle registration points problem and the date of September 1, 2021, which worries Pridnestrovian car owners. They also talked about another date – July 1 of this year, with the onset of which the second phase of the introduction of Moldovan control on the Kuchurgan section of the border was possible. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that although the issue was not removed from the agenda, a decision was made to shift the announced deadline for the implementation of this initiative, limiting the right of Pridnestrovians to free movement. So far January 1, 2022 was mentioned.
The PMR President paid attention to the issue of support from Russia, focusing on the resolution adopted by the State Duma, by which Russian parliamentarians openly condemned those who are trying to bring Pridnestrovie to knees.
They talked about pandemic, vaccinations, vaccination certificates. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted with regret that there are those in the world who politicize such issues that are exclusively humanitarian in nature, mentioning the situation when Moldova prevented the timely delivery of medicines and equipment to Pridnestrovie, necessary for organizing anti-coronavirus activities.
Deplorable state of some rural roads was discussed in the course of the meeting. The President drew attention to the areas actively exploited by heavy-duty exporting firms. It was noted that there are cases of drivers ignoring restrictive signs. The President instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs to investigate and if necessary take additional control measures. The issue of closing the so-called unprofitable routes was raised during the conversation, as a result of which rural residents are limited in their ability to move around the region and the republic as a whole. An example of the closed route is Vinogradnoe-Grigoriopol-Tiraspol.
The President was asked for assistance in solving the problem of the lack of branches and ATMs of Sberbank in some rural areas. Vadim Krasnoselsky will discuss this issue with representatives of the republic's banking community.
Grigoriopol residents are also worried about the situation with an uncontrolled increase in the number of stray animals. They talked about the troubles associated with sowing rapeseed. If for the land this culture is a good predecessor, then for the inhabitants of settlements located near the fields it is a real test. The problem is in the rapeseed midge, the President was told. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to study the problems and to establish normatively the requirement for the remoteness of rapeseed fields from settlements. They asked Vadim Krasnoselsky about the prospects for repairing state administration buildings – district, rural, settlement, as well as returning to the issue of repairing facilities excluded from the Capital Investment Fund in connection with the forced spending on the fight against the pandemic. The President assured that the facilities were not forgotten, the schedule for their repair was simply shifted. He emphasized that the plan for the implementation of the capital investment program is constantly being adjusted based on the emerging realities, and noted that the state program of the Capital Investment Fund will operate exactly as long as there is a need for it. Specific objects awaiting financial injections have been named. Among them there are the Houses of Culture of the villages of Delakeu and Mayak. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the investments already made in the social infrastructure of the Grigoriopol region through the Capital Investment Fund. Eight schools, five kindergartens, several houses of culture, a central hospital, rural outpatient clinics, cinema, and playgrounds have been repaired. The President named the villages that he managed to provide with centralized water supply. Instructions were made to complete the work on water supply to the village of Gyrtop.
The President was asked if there is a possibility of reviving the anti-hail service that once functioned in the village of Bychok. As it turned out during the discussion of this issue, the service was phased out in 2013. The staff was reduced, leaving only hydrometeorologists in the ranks. A recent analysis of the organization's performance has shown its ineffectiveness. The service was structured under the jurisdiction of another enterprise. The missiles expired a decade ago, and their use would be unsafe. There is no opportunity to purchase new ones. Therefore, it is not necessary to talk about the resumption of the anti-hail service in the previous form, explained Vadim Krasnoselsky, noting that it is necessary to master other forms and methods of protection against hail impact.
Presidential grants were discussed in the course of the conversation with the President. There was an increased interest in this initiative. Vadim Krasnoselsky was asked whether its implementation will continue in the coming years. The President spoke about his impressions of the projects submitted for participation in the competition. He assured that this practice will be continued.
The youth policy, pensions, salaries were discussed today. They focused on the increased workload due to COVID vaccination on the staff of vaccination rooms. The President supported the proposal to include this category of health workers among the recipients of the corresponding allowances. The issue will be brought up for discussion at the next meeting of the Operational Headquarters for the Prevention and Prevention of the Spread of Coronavirus.
