The President discussed relevant issues with the Minister of Education

The PMR President held a working meeting with the Minister of Education of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. They talked about Pridnestrovian education in general and about certain spheres. The President asked about the measures taken to prevent the spread of viral diseases in children's groups. They touched upon the topic of preparing graduates for the final school and entrance tests. It was noted that applications are being accepted for passing the Russian Unified State Exam, as well as for obtaining quotas for studying in Russian universities on a budgetary basis. The interlocutors spoke about the system of vocational education in Pridnestrovie. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the relevant tasks formulated in the text of the Message. The minister said the that work is underway.

They focused on the issue of optimizing the system of secondary vocational education. This is one of the instructions of the President, on the implementation of which they have been working since last year. Thematic meetings were held, including with the participation of the President. It was decided to carry out some reorganization measures according to Svetlana Ivanishina. We are talking about the unification of Bendery institutions of secondary vocational education into a single scientific and educational center, the creation of an agro-industrial cluster on the basis of the Tiraspol Agrarian and Technical College named after Frunze (it will also include the Slobodzeya Polytechnic College), as well as expanding the list of professions of the Kamenka Polytechnic College named after Soltys. The minister noted that the task is to carry out the work in such a way that these institutions work for the market of our republic and train those professions that are in demand on the labor market.

The President spoke about the importance of updating and modernizing the material and technical base of technical schools, colleges, noting that appropriate funding should be provided. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that it is necessary to purchase both industrial equipment corresponding to the profile of training specialists, and educational literature. In addition, the President focused on the need to create comfortable conditions for the educational process and accommodation for students of secondary specialized education institutions: attention should be paid to educational buildings, canteens, hostels, sports and leisure facilities.

The President pointed out that in addition to optimization plans, it is necessary to think about ensuring the accessibility and convenience of obtaining this education, emphasizing that these are important aspects designed to interest young people and motivate them to receive working specialties that are in demand on the domestic labor market.
