The proposal of the President to appoint Alexander Rozenberg to the post of Prime Minister is supported by parliamentarians

The President took part in the work of the plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The event was extraordinary. There is one issue on the agenda – the appointment of the Chairman of the Government of the PMR. Alexander Martynov, who has been in charge of the executive body of state power for more than five years, has submitted his resignation. A presidential decree was signed to relieve him of his post yesterday. As Vadim Krasnoselsky informed the public today, the initiative came from Alexander Martynov and is connected with his transfer to another job.

The President focused on the achievements of the Pridnestrovian Government under the leadership of Alexander Martynov, emphasizing that the work that was carried out in a difficult period for the country was productive and efficient.

Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the organizational skills, high professionalism, the desire for innovation inherent in Alexander Martynov, expressed gratitude to him for his work and significant contribution to the development of the republic, presenting the Order of Honor.

Alexander Martynov in turn thanked those present for their joint work, dwelling on the main achievements of the past five years. He mentioned the repair of social infrastructure and housing and communal services, as well as the introduction of a management system for state-owned enterprises and the implementation of concessional lending programs for subjects of the real sector of the economy and citizens to improve their living conditions.

A decree was also published the day before, by which Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed to consider the candidacy of Alexander Rosenberg, the current Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the PMR, for appointment to the post of Chairman of the Government of the PMR. The regulation prescribes the deputy corps consent. The candidate briefly outlined the government's proposed areas of activity, emphasizing that the fundamental principles remain the desire to ensure political stability, economic self-sufficiency and social justice.

The deputies supported the proposal of the President. The signing of the presidential decree on the appointment of Alexander Rosenberg to the post of Chairman of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is expected.
