The head of the state administration Oleg Gabuzha presented a report on the work in 2019 to the President, representatives of the legislative and executive branches of Government, as well as deputies of the Grigoriopol City Council in the presidential executive office. He talked about how the district is developing, what decisions were made last year and how they affected the life and well-being of residents of Grigoriopol.
Totally 38555 people live in the district. The migratory population decline, which was observed in 2018 (minus 97 people), in 2019 was replaced by migration growth - plus 100 people. The President noted in this regard that a positive migration balance is observed in almost all regions of the republic.
The structure of the district, in addition to the city of Grigoriopol, includes more than two dozen settlements of rural and township types. Most of the territory is occupied by agricultural land - about 75% of the area. Supporting local farmers is one of the key tasks of the district leadership. In 2019, 577 land users of Grigoriopol of various forms of ownership produced agricultural products worth more than 659 thousand rubles.
The distribution of the district budget in the past year, as in previous periods, has retained its social character. 85.6 million rubles have been spent on financing socially protected items (almost 70% of all expenses). There were no delays in the payment of pensions and wages.
In 2019, 481 enterprises operated in the district. Individual activity was carried out by 2301 entrepreneurs. 1391 patents were taken for peasant farming.
Much work has been done in the road industry. Only within the framework of the implementation of the target program, the work was financed to bring the roadbed to the proper state in the amount of over 8.5 million rubles. Another 430 thousand rubles were spent on the arrangement of parking lots with a total area of 735 square meters.
During the meeting, they talked about improvement of recreational areas of villages and cities, achievements of the district's residents in the cultural and educational fields, plans of the state administration for the near future and long-term perspective.
The President satisfactorily assessed the work of the State Administration of the Grigoriopol District and the city of Grigoriopol in 2019. Vadim Krasnoselsky aimed the Head and the deputies present at the meeting, representing the interests of residents of the Grigoriopol in the Supreme and Local Councils, to continue consolidated work for the benefit of the dynamic development of the region and ensuring the well-being of the population.
