The official delegation, headed by the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky, arrived at the capital's flagpole. Canvases of the State flags of the PMR traditionally flew into the sky over Tiraspol on the occasion of state holidays. The flag was approved on September 2, 1991 like the Pridnestrovian anthem.
