Official statistics were announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters. 1477 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection of citizens were recorded among Pridnestrovians during the pandemic. 53 carriers of the virus died (mortality 3.6%), 1256 people coped with the disease (85% of those infected). Since the detection of the first case of coronavirus disease, 18976 samples of the biomaterial of residents of the republic have been sent for laboratory research, 758 during the four days that have passed since the previous meeting. 29 of them are positive. 40 people undergoing treatment in Pridnestrovian hospitals confirmed that they are no longer carriers of the virus.
Totally there are 170 infected patients in two COVID hospitals in Pridnestrovie. 79 people are suspected of having the virus and are awaiting test results in isolation at the sites of various medical institutions. Home quarantine has been prescribed for 2424 citizens. The regulatory authorities carried out over 2500 check visits to self-isolated persons during four days. Business entities are also checked. During the reporting period, as a result of five thousand control measures, 110 violations were revealed. Among the objects, the activities of which are suspended, there are shops, cafes, hairdressers, and car repair shops. One and a half dozen violations of sanitary norms and rules for the transportation of passengers were recorded in public transportation. The perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility.
Clear requirements have been established for organizations engaged in international passenger transportation. There are 25 Pridnestrovian and 60 foreign legal entities registered in the republic, working in this sector. They need to have a special permit issued by the PMR Ministry of Economic Development to work in the pandemic. For citizens who constantly use the services of an international carrier, it is proposed to abolish the mandatory two-week quarantine when entering the republic - if you have a ticket issued by JSC Auto Stations of Pridnestrovie, and if you are outside the PMR less than 12 hours. It was proposed to exempt from self-isolation also the drivers of the respective vehicles operating on international routes. You do not need a permit from the Headquarters for short-term travel. A list of passengers is required. It is necessary to inform foreign carriers about the changes in the regulations in a timely manner, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.
Quarantine posts established along the perimeter of the PMR in order to ensure the safety of the citizens of Pridnestrovie and prevent the "import" of the coronavirus were discussed today. Taking into consideration that the republic is successfully coping with the pandemic and is gradually easing restrictions, their number has already been halved. It was decided to rotate personnel in order to reduce the burden on employees of state security agencies. Pridnestrovian militia officers are now in quarantine posts. They are provided with bright red armbands with a well-readable inscription “Ministry of Internal Affairs. Quarantine".
The permission to hold weekend fairs in the settlements of the republic was received from Operational Headquarters. It is important that there are sufficient areas to ensure safety, the President emphasized. He informed that major holiday fairs will be organized locally on September 2. In the capital, each district will not organize its own courtyard this year. This is due to the quarantine circumstances of the Republic Day.
The Operational Headquarters allowed visitors from three years old to visit public pools. At the same time, it was noted that there are numerous requests from citizens of retirement age, striving for a healthy lifestyle and in pre-coronavirus conditions on a systematic basis, engaged in water sports at amateur level. The Sanitary and Epidemiological Service will have to decide whether the presence of citizens over 65 years of age in the pools is permissible.
