The entire Orthodox world celebrates Christmas today. Orthodox Christians of Pridnestrovie shared the joy of the holiday with believers from different countries. Christmas liturgies were held in all the churches of the republic. Dozens of parishioners gathered in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ. According to the tradition, Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Savva conducted a solemn service. There were the first persons of the state, representatives of the state authority and administration among those who gathered this Christmas night in the cathedral of Tiraspol.
After the end of the service, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed the participants of the Christmas service and the parishioners. He wished the Pridnestrovians health, joy, well-being and happiness. Vadim Krasnoselsky said: “Happiness in many respects depends on ourselves. Help your neighbors, give people good, make the world around you better, and maybe when you see happy people around you, you will find the happiness you wanted yourself”.
The President congratulated the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary on the bright Christmas holiday and presented him a congratulatory address and flowers. Vadim Krasnoselsky wished the Archbishop health, patience and wisdom.
