The final round of the "Young Patriot of Pridnestrovie" Republican military-patriotic game was held in Mereneshty, Slobodzeya District, at the "Dnestrovskie Zori" health resort. Organized by the PMR Defense Ministry the event was dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 35th anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The event was scheduled for two days. Participating are school teams from grades 8-10 that won the qualifying rounds, as well as Suvorov military school pupils, cadets, and Young Army members of the OGRV in Pridnestrovie. A total of 11 teams of 16 people each. The competition program includes a marching band and song competition, a historical and patriotic quiz, a shooting contest, "The Heroic Heritage of the Pridnestrovian People" creative competition, paramilitary competitions, and a combined challenge course. The organizers have prepared thematic exhibitions, discussion platforms, an educational section, a film screening, musical gatherings around the campfire, a disco, demonstration performances by special forces and students of the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School, and a concert by soloists from the Orchestra of the General Staff of the PMR Armed Forces.
The special guest of the rally was the PMR President. Vadim Krasnoselsky spent an hour talking with the youth. They asked him for advice. For example, they asked about what specialty to choose to be useful to the state. Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended choosing not a career, but a life's work. Speaking about the significance and value of professions, the President compared society to a clockwork mechanism in which there are no more or less necessary parts. When asked about professional service in the armed forces, Vadim Krasnoselsky responded that any step must be deliberate, and the decision to dedicate one's life to the army conscious. Psychological preparedness is an important prerequisite. Other advice: don't waste time, and if you fail, don't give up, but move on. Among human qualities, Vadim Krasnoselsky considers kindness and the resulting ability to listen and understand to be paramount. He advised in this regard choosing a life partner not one who is successful or rich, but one who is kind.
The students wanted to know what achievement of the past decade Vadim Krasnoselsky considers most important. The answer: peace and interethnic harmony. They asked about the president's vision for the republic's further development over the next 10 years. The President announced that a decree is currently being prepared that will establish the state's trajectory for its future development. The main goal, according to Vadim Krasnoselsky, remains the international recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Another question from the young people was where Vadim Krasnoselsky draws his strength and inspiration for his creativity. The President responded that he is motivated by a desire to understand history, patriotism, momentary emotions, and the desire to express his feelings about something.
The meeting concluded creatively. Vadim Krasnoselsky, accompanying himself on guitar, performed three songs. One of them is essentially a prayer, the second is a declaration of love (Vadim Krasnoselsky said he sang it to his future wife when they were 17), and the third (from the "Lyube" band) is about love for one's native land.
