The PMR President took part in the ceremony of a "time capsule" laying in the walls of the May Day Church of the Miracle of Archangel Michael at Chonae

Pervomaisk celebrates village name days today. The celebrations began with a festive divine service in the temple under construction that has the name of the Archangel Michael, the patron saint of the settlement. The service was conducted by the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa. A memorial capsule was laid in the walls of the church under construction at the end of the service. The ceremony was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, with whose support the temple is being built.

It was noted during the event that the construction of a church in Pervomaisk is a long-standing request of local residents. Collective appeals on this issue date back to 2010. The first attempts were made to start construction at the same time, but the work did not progress beyond the laying and consecration of the stone. The issue came back a decade later. The Church of the Miracle of Archangel Michael at Chonae is being built in a new village park at the insistence of Vadim Krasnoselsky. The participants of the celebration spoke about the transformation of the village, which is becoming more beautiful and more comfortable for life, addressing words of gratitude to the leadership of the country and the region. The PMR President for his part thanked the residents of Pervomaisk for their personal involvement and perseverance, thanks to which infrastructural changes are taking place.
