2020 is the Year of Health in Pridnestrovie. Pridnestrovie continues to implement state programs related to the renewal of medical infrastructure despite the coronavirus pandemic that has gripped the republic and the world as a whole, the fight against which required significant resources. 86 facilities have been built or repaired in the health care system during three years - 2017-2020. The state has spent more than a hundred million rubles on this. Approximately 120 million were invested in the renovation of equipment, appliances, furniture of medical institutions. At the same time, it is important that attention is paid not only to large central objects, but also to rural medicine, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky noted during the solemn event dedicated to the opening after the reconstruction of the Bendery polyclinic No. 2.
Vadim Krasnoselsky called the transformation of the polyclinic an important and long-awaited event, expressing gratitude to everyone who was involved in the implementation of this project. The President emphasized that medical facilities should be modern, functional and comfortable - for both patients and the staff.
Vadim Krasnoselsky, accompanied by the administration of the institution, the relevant department and the city administration, having cut the symbolic red ribbon, examined the premises of the polyclinic. He was told that the color of the walls was chosen taking into account the opinion of young visitors and employees - sunny lemon shade. The waiting room and other rooms where children will stay for a long time are equipped with modern TVs. Medical equipment and furniture are new. The facility, which will serve 17000 young residents of Bendery and nearby villages, is multifunctional. Here they will not only provide polyclinic services, but also admit them for inpatient treatment (the rehabilitation department with a day hospital is designed for 20 people). Equipped with vaccination, massage, physiotherapy rooms, mechanotherapy and physiotherapy rooms. There is a games room and a conference room. Toilets for disabled visitors have been designed. The reconstruction took two years. Approximately 7 million rubles have been allocated from fund of capital investment for it.
