610 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment according to the information announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. There are 256 beds (93%) in the Slobodzeya hospital, the Rybnitsa hospital – 214 (100%), the hospital in Bendery – 122 (93%), and the Tiraspol hospital based on the Republican Clinical Hospital – 18 (10%). 137 people or 23% of the total number of citizens hospitalized are hard to tolerate the coronavirus at the moment, 25 are patients in intensive care units, two are connected to mechanical ventilation devices. The total workload of hospitals, taking into account the additionally deployed places, is 74%. 66 patients needed hospitalization during the period from 13 to 19 September, 582 Pridnestrovians are being treated at home.
5516 samples of the biomaterial of citizens with suspected infection were examined during the week (275499 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 891 cases. The average daily incidence is 127 cases (a week earlier - 82). In total, 53957 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1307 carriers of the virus died or 2.4% of cases (eighteen deaths in a week), 51458 people – 95% of those infected coped with the disease (during the reporting week, 362 recovered).
From 13 to 19 September 2239 Pridnestrovians underwent a full course of vaccination. In total, 97415 people, or 25.5% of the adult population, were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic.
