The President held a regular meeting of the Operational Headquarters for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. According to the information announced during the meeting, 29310 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic. 107367 studies were carried out during this time. 633 deaths were recorded among citizens diagnosed with coronavirus (2% of the whole number of cases). 611 patients are in the infectious diseases hospitals of the republic at the moment. There are 37 people in critical condition in intensive care units, 10 of whom are connected to artificial lung ventilations. The workload of the reduced hospital network is 35%. 37 people with suspected infection are awaiting test results in hospitals. 322 residents of the republic undergo anti-coronavirus treatment at home. 13 Pridnestrovians were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to the deteriorating state of health during the three days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters (717 people totally since the beginning of December). 251 carriers of COVID-19 were identified during the reporting period as a result of 1135 laboratory tests, seven infected people died, 302 residents of the republic coped with the disease. The average daily incidence rate in the republic is 84 cases, the previous figure is 75.
