New Year's greetings from the PMR President

Dear compatriots!

Dear Pridnestrovians!

New Year is coming very soon.

All of us, as in childhood, are waiting for this joyful holiday. We meet it with family, relatives and friends. We hope for the best, we want to be happy, we believe in miracles.

The outgoing year was not easy, but it reminded us of the most important values on Earth - the value of human life and the value of peace.

2020 is already a history that cannot be deleted or forgotten.

I express my sincere gratitude to medical workers, teachers, militia officers, volunteers, and socially responsible business.

The pandemic slowed down, but did not stop the forward movement of Pridnestrovie. We continued to solve the urgent tasks for the republic: purchase new equipment for polyclinics and hospitals, build and repair health care, education, culture and sports facilities, eliminate the problem of long-term construction, improve our cities and villages, preserve our history.

I know that only together we can overcome any obstacles, continue the painstaking work aimed at improving the welfare, quality of life and health protection of Pridnestrovians. It is important for all of us to make the republic modern and attractive.

No matter how difficult it may be, the course towards building a welfare state will remain unchanged. It was decided next year not to increase tariffs for utility bills, continue to repair and build social facilities, plan to increase wages and pensions.

I am sure the pandemic is not forever and our life will return to its usual course. 2021 has been declared the Year of Youth in the republic. I think its main goal is not a series of bright events, but real support of our youth.

Dear Pridnestrovians!

A few seconds separate us from the New Year. Let's turn to those who are around. Let's say to them the most cherished and sincere words.

Thank you all for your daily work and patience. I wish you and your loved ones to be healthy, to have light and warmth in your homes, and harmony and goodness reigned in families, so that dreams come true and happiness!

Happy New Year 2021, beloved Pridnestrovie!
