Vadim Krasnoselsky was born on the 14th of April, 1970 in the Zabaikalsky district of the Chita region, in the family of military officer.
In 1987 he graduated from school number 3 in Bendery.
In 1993 he graduated with honors from the Kharkov Higher Command Engineering School of Rocket Forces.
In 2000 he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Pridnestrovian State University,named after Taras Shevchenko.
From 1993 to 2012 he served in the Ministry of the Interior of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in various posts, including from 2003 to 2006 - the Head of the Department of Internal Affairs in Bendery.
From 2007 to 2012 - Minister of the Interior of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Special title - Major General of the militia.
He is awarded the Order "For Personal Courage", the Order "For Merit", the Order "For Merit" II degree and other awards.
He is awarded the orders of the Russian Orthodox Church - St. Daniel and Paisius Velichkovsky. He was awarded the Order of the Russian Imperial House - St. Nicholas and St. Anne.
On the 29th of November, 2015 he was elected to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republicof the VI convocation.
On the 23d of December, 2015 he was elected as the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
On the 11th of December, 2016 he was elected President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
On the 12th of December, 2021 he was re-elected President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
Married. He has three children.
