The health issues are included to the agenda of the operational headquarters meeting

The meeting of the Presidential Operational Headquarters for the Prevention of the Spread of Coronavirus was traditionally attended by chief medical officers of the republic’s main medical institutions. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the situation on the ground. The President controls the provision of healthcare facilities with personal protective equipment, disinfectants, and medicines. Vadim Krasnoselsky urged to form applications in advance. The President urged the administration of medical institutions not to keep silent about resolving infrastructure problems. Many issues require not so much finances as an economic approach, attentiveness and reasonable perseverance, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky. He spoke about the results of yesterday's inspection trip to the north of the republic, noting the positive changes in the healthcare sector of the Rybnitsa region. The words of gratitude are addressed to Vadim Krasnoselsky for understanding the importance of completing the repair and construction work in the physiotherapy department of the Rybnitsa Central District Hospital adjacent to the pediatric hospital. Repairs are not completed in this wing of the updated and expanded building of the medical facilities due to the suspension of investor financing - MMZ (this is a necessary measure, the reasons for which are objective: the company is not working at full strength because of the pandemic). One million rubles is needed to commission the facility. The President instructed the Government to explore the possibility of allocating the necessary amount from the state budget.

They spoke in the course of the meeting about the future Rybnitsa COVID laboratory. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that on the eve he inspected the premises proposed by the local administration, noting that the decision would be made after agreement with the members of the Operational Headquarters. The Head of the Ministry of Health, Kristina Albul, said that the equipment costs approximately a million rubles when the President asked her about the cost of the project. Additional investments will require the provision of a ventilation system, the purchase and installation of filters, repair and construction work.

It is also necessary to find funds for the infrastructural renewal of the infectious ward of the Kamenka Central District Hospital. The object requires attention and serious investment. Vadim Krasnoselsky has questions for representatives of Kamenka about the protracted reconstruction of the entrance group to the local clinic. The task has been set for a long time, funds have been allocated, and the project has not been implemented. The President was informed that a construction team is already working at the facility.

Another issue raised by Vadim Krasnoselsky based on the results of the inspection of healthcare facilities is the medical and obstetrical station. The President cited the example of the station in the village of Mokra. The modern compact structure in the form of a modular building meets the requirements of the local population, while it takes no more than a week to build it and it costs 10000 dollars. The President recalled that he had repeatedly spoken about the advisability of moving to the construction of economical modules instead of the costly and time-consuming restoration of old buildings. He instructed the Government to return to the issue of the widespread arrangement of such medical and obstetrical stations in rural settlements, noting that it would be correct to implement this idea in the framework of the state program.
