Vadim Krasnoselsky, “Recreation areas and leisure centers are an important component of social infrastructure of the republic’s towns and villages”

Vadim Krasnoselsky considered it necessary to visit the central park in Grigoriopol. Its attendance is great. This is a place not only for residents of the city, but also for cultural events, including those of regional significance. Vadim Krasnoselsky has been here more than once during city celebrations. Today's visit is an inspection visit. The President was informed about what has been done and what is planned to be undertaken for further improvement. This year, water well was drilled in the park, providing a green massif with systemic watering, paths and the territory in front of the summer stage were designed, a playground was equipped, street exercise machines were installed that according to the Head of the Grigoriopol Oleg Gabuzha are in demand among the population. The Head of the district administration emphasized that representatives of different generations come to engage in physical education in the fresh air. One problem: the great demand leads to the rapid wear of the simulators and the need for frequent repairs. Speaking about introducing residents of Grigoriopol to sports and an active lifestyle, the President noted that, in addition to the existing volleyball and soccer fields with a natural surface, the park should have at least one mini-soccer field with artificial canvas. This will allow you not to stop studying and playing even in the winter. In the near future, the park expects to update the benches, build a fountain, put in order the summer stage. Another task is to build a ramp along the stairs leading to the park. To date, the movement of people with special needs, cyclists and skateboarders, skaters and scooters, is extremely difficult. In addition to the functional load, the new design will give the entrance to the park a well-groomed appearance, said Oleg Gabuzha, Head of the Grigoriopol administration.

Speaking about financing ideas, the President noted that under the next year’s capital investment program, almost 900 thousand rubles were allocated for this object. At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that in matters of improvement, local authorities should not rely solely on the state budget: it is necessary to find internal resources and attract investors. In this regard, the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant was mentioned that gave residents and guests of Grigoriopol a set of mobile attractions for active recreation of children.

"Vostok" cinema is a long-awaited object for the residents of Grigoriopol. Once it was the main place of cultural recreation for citizens and residents of the area. Opened in 1965, by the beginning of the 2000 it fell into disrepair. Equipment was outdated. Only cartoons were shown here for a decade and a half, in fact, having lost an adult audience. By the end of 2014, the cinema ceased operations. After five years of inactivity, the facility was included in the FKP-2019 program. Now it is positioned as a multifunctional cultural and leisure center. According to the reconstruction project, in addition to the cinema, there will be games room, including for children with disabilities, and a buffet. 1.1 million rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund.

Inspecting the restored building, Vadim Krasnoselsky asked whether funding was allocated in a timely manner, was interested in heating (it is centralized), and asked questions about contractors. The Grigoriopol construction organization works at the facility. 28 people are employed. All are locals. The question of staffing with the necessary specialists was also raised. We are talking about seven employees who will serve the cultural and leisure center. It is assumed that they will be assigned to the city Department of Culture.

Despite the considerable amount of work, and the need to equip the cinema that require serious financial costs and time, the President insists that the facility promised to the citizens of Grigoriopol by the anniversary of the republic should open its doors to visitors on time - September 2, 2020.
