Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev

The PMR President met with Russian politician Konstantin Kosachev. The meeting was attended by Russian senators Farit Mukhametshin and Sergei Muratov, from the Pridnestrovian side – the PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev.

Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked the leadership of the Federation Council for organizing the visit of senators as observers at the recent parliamentary elections to the PMR, as well as for constant attention to the processes taking place in the republic and around it.

According to Konstantin Kosachev, the geopolitical situation on the eve of 2021 invites to closer interaction with the Pridnestrovian side.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the current state of affairs in relations between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, including the state of the negotiation process. Mutual concern was expressed over the persisting set of problems in this area, which have not been resolved despite the previously signed agreements.

During the conversation, attention was paid to the development of social and humanitarian interaction with the Russian Federation, including the parameters of supporting compatriots. The interlocutors noted the traditionally high level of contacts, agreeing to continue an intensive dialogue.
