Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting with community activists of Bendery

The communication of the PMR President with representatives of a dozen public organizations of Bendery was organized at the cinema named after Gorky. About forty people were invited to the conversation. Quarantine restrictions do not allow large numbers of people indoors. Representatives of the Government leadership and ministries of the social focus also took part in the discussion. The communication took place in an interactive format. They talked about the negotiation process with reference to the historical facts of the origin and formation of the Pridnestrovian statehood, as well as to the events of today. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the cause-and-effect relationship of what happened in the early 90s and the current state of the negotiation process. He spoke about the groundlessness of accusations of separatism, sounding against Pridnestrovie, and about the fact that the Moldovan state was destroyed by Moldovan politicians and parliamentarians, who once voted for the fateful documents. The topic of peacekeeping was not ignored. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted: in a difficult hour of danger, Russian peacekeepers stood up to protect the inhabitants of the republic, now the time has come for the Pridnestrovians to protect, including informationally, peacekeeping, the format of which they are persistently trying to change. The President recalled how the international observers in Pridnestrovie “watched” what was happening in 1992: with the outbreak of hostilities, they were urgently evacuated and later did not even bother to provide relevant reports and document their findings. Talking about the recent meeting of the PMR President with the delegation of the current mediators and observers of the negotiation process in the "3 + 2" format, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that for the first time public figures were invited to the conversation.

They spoke at the meeting about the pandemic and vaccinations, about social payments and support for young people, about the preferential provision of medical services to defenders and families of the victims. The President was asked about the indexation of combat payments. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to calculate the increase in government spending, which will entail recalculation, and to report on the findings. There was gratitude for providing disabled defenders with their own housing. To the Pridnestrovian doctors – words of gratitude for the lives saved during the pandemic. It was noted that the coronavirus claimed the life of one disabled defender, whose condition was extremely difficult even before being infected with the new virus. The rest of the sick with the help of doctors successfully coped with the disease. They discussed at the meeting the initiative to create a specialized center to support people in difficult life situations. They talked about the monuments of the dead and deceased defenders. It was noted that in 2019, fifty memorial signs were installed at the Borisov cemetery. The same quantity will be installed this year. The second line of the Alley of Heroes has been completed. This is the burial place of the defenders who died in the post-war years. If relatives decide to bury a loved one in this territory, then a monument of a single sample is installed at the state expense. The issue of creating and installing a monument to N.S. Severin was mentioned today. The money for these purposes has already been allocated. They raised the topic of children's health improvement. Residents of Bendery are asking to revive the "Youth" local camp. Instructions were given to work out the issue. There is a hope that the institution will start accepting children by the 2022 holiday season. The topic of discussion was educational work with young people. It was noted that the time has come to change the forms, methods and platforms to more modern ones. They also talked about new approaches to organizing space for physical education lessons in educational institutions. The proposal to develop an all-republican program seems promising. They ask for presidential assistance in solving the problem of historical debt to the employees of the AgroGiska enterprise. They applied for support for initiatives related to activities to preserve cultural and historical heritage sites. Specific proposals and ideas were discussed. One of them is the installation of a monument to the victims of political repression on the territory of Bendery. They talked about problems with road repairs. It was noted that the funds of the Road Fund for Bendery have already been exhausted this year. It is planned to lend the amount of 13.5 million rubles for the city for these purposes. The interlocutors agreed on the expediency of developing a targeted multi-year state program for the repair of the roadway. Discussing the capital investment fund, they noted that 157 million rubles have already been invested in the Bendery infrastructure under the capital investment program. 19 kindergartens were repaired, 12 schools, five social correctional institutions, four medical institutions. Sports and park and leisure facilities are being reconstructed and built. The central part of the city is being renovated. The plans are to transform the embankment. Significant funds are invested in the repair of communal networks: in the republic as a whole in recent years approximately one billion rubles.

The President was appealed with proposals and requests of a private nature. All appeals were taken into account.

The meeting was ended with the demonstration of the documentary film "The strength of the state is in the unity of the people" on the big cinema screen prepared by Bendery TV.
