Meeting with a member of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building Alexei Pushkov was held as part of the visit of the PMR President to Moscow, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia. The PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev also took part in the working discussion.
The PMR President highly appreciated the systematic nature of bilateral contacts with the Russian side at various sites, including the Federation Council. In addition, gratitude was expressed to the Russian side for the support and attention provided to the republic.
Vadim Krasnoselsky and Alexei Pushkov in the course of the meeting discussed in detail the current situation in the negotiation process on the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement. The issues of the general regional situation, as well as the existing threats to the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester were discussed.
The interlocutors at the same time discussed other topical aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation, expressing mutual interest in the implementation of regular working contacts and exchange of views.
