Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the regatta in memory of Nikolai Tufanyuk that opened the rowing competition

“Take care, protect and respect your name, the honor of your coach and the glory of your sports team. Sport teaches us to win honestly and lose with dignity. Sport teaches everything - teaches life", - these words of the eminent Bendery rowing coach Nikolai Tufanyuk were quoted today at the Bendery rowing school, which bears the name of the honored coach of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic who passed away eight years ago, but left a good memory of himself, which is faithfully kept colleagues and pupils. Open competitions in rowing were held today at "Chaika" sports camp. The competition was preceded by a flower-laying ceremony at the memorial plaque with the name of Nikolai Tufanyuk. 

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky was the first to lay a scattering of carnations was the. The President personally knew Nikolai Alekseevich. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that Nikolai Tufanyuk put his heart and soul into teaching with the coaching word. The President recalled that Nikolai Tufanyuk taught, it is not so important what peaks you reached in sports, it is important to learn how to work in a team, to achieve success. He also emphasized that despite the fact a lot fell into decay in the post-Soviet period, Nikolai Alekseevich managed to preserve the traditions and continue the development of rowing in Bendery.  

The parade of the competition participants is at the same time a regatta of memory. Vadim Krasnoselsky as part of the eight-seater kayak veteran team took part in the regatta, leaving flowers on the surface of the Dniester in memory of Nikolai Tufanyuk. This ceremony has become traditional.
