Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the delegation of the Artsakh Republic

The delegation of Nagorno-Karabakh, headed by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the republic Artur Tovmasyan, arrived in Tiraspol to take part in the festive events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the PMR. The PMR President met with representatives of the fraternal people on the eve of the holiday.

Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the similarity of histories of the two republics defending their independence. The PMR President congratulated the people of Artsakh, who, like the Pridnestrovians, celebrate the main state holiday on the 2nd of September. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic declared its independence 29 years ago. Vadim Krasnoselsky wished peace and creation to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh.

As a sign of mutual friendship of the states and in connection with the 30th anniversary of Pridnestrovie, Vadim Krasnoselsky handed the Order of Friendship to the Head of the Artsakh Republic Araik Harutyunyan. The PMR President presented awards to other members of the Nagorno-Karabakh delegation - these are anniversary medals for their contribution to the development of international relations and the expansion of friendly ties between the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of Artsakh.

The participants moved on to discuss specific issues of interaction between the two states at the end of the solemn part of the meeting: they talked about joint projects and strengthening contacts in various spheres, discussed the forthcoming opening of trade missions of Pridnestrovie in Nagorno-Karabakh. Artur Tovmasyan noted the rapid development and positive changes in Pridnestrovie since his last visit to the republic in 2016.

Concluding the meeting, Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked the interlocutors for their attention to Pridnestrovie and systemic interaction based on meaningful and constructive dialogue, traditions of friendship and mutual respect. The President expressed confidence in the great potential for further cooperation.
