Stepan Beril, Rector of Pridnestrovian State University named after TG Shevchenko celebrated his 70th birthday today. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to congratulate the hero of the day. The President noted that today he acts not only as the head of the country, but also on behalf of all students and graduates of the state university (Vadim Krasnoselsky graduated from the law faculty of PSU in 2000).
The President compared Stepan Beril to the pivot that firmly holds the university life. The President wished the birthday person and the university he heads prosperity, emphasized the high level of Pridnestrovian higher education and the importance of Stepan Beril's contribution to the development of this sphere.
The birthday person, expressing gratitude for the congratulations and the high assessment of his work, noted the importance of the fact that the country's leadership and personally Vadim Krasnoselsky pay increased attention to the field of education in general and the state university in particular. He called the creation of PSU the most powerful project after the formation of the republic, noting that the future of the country is being formed within the university walls.
