Vadim Krasnoselsky, “We feel the support of the Just Russia not just in words, but in fact”

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev on a working visit to Moscow met with the Head of the “Just Russia” Duma faction, Sergei Mironov. The PMR President, welcoming the parliamentarian, emphasized that the Pridnestrovians are aware of the continued support from members of the Just Russia and appreciate it. The interaction of representatives of this faction with the leadership, parliamentarians, members of the PMR Government has a long history and is systematic and efficient. According to Sergei Mironov, six meetings took place at various venues and in different formats in two years.  

The Russian legislator assured that they are closely following the state of affairs in Pridnestrovie and the situation around the republic, they are worried. They are pleased with the economic successes since the recession of 2015-2016. They carefully monitor the negotiation process within the framework of the “5 + 2” format. They see that not everyone wants to actively continue to work in this format. Russia is a guarantor, one of the participants in the format, as is Ukraine. They hope that as a result of the negotiations, an impetus will be given to more active work within the framework of the “5 + 2” negotiation process and to improving the socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie. As for “Just Russia”, the factions, the attitude towards Pridnestrovie is with the deepest sympathy, always supported, support and will support, the Russian legislator assured.

Vadim Krasnoselsky and Sergey Mironov in the framework of the working dialogue spoke about Russia's participation in the negotiation process between Moldova and Pridnestrovie, about the aspects related to its stagnation, and possible ways to solve existing and emerging problems. It was emphasized that Pridnestrovie, as before, counts on the support of the Russian Federation, which has repeatedly acted as the initiator of various decisions and projects.

Discussing the Pridnestrovian-Russian relations, the interlocutors mentioned such areas as peacekeeping, economy, humanitarian sphere and information sector. They focused on the issues of obtaining Russian citizenship by Pridnestrovians, the use of maternal capital on the territory of the PMR, and the use of Russian medical insurance policies by Pridnestrovian Russians. The meeting participants exchanged views, voiced various proposals, arguments and arguments in their favor. They agreed to continue the dialogue and constructive interaction, leaving contact as necessary in the working order.
