The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic having considered the received appeal of the Consultative Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the PMR Supreme Council Chairman and sharing their justified concern about the pressure from the Republic of Moldova, which violates the rights and worsens the socio-economic situation of the Pridnestrovian people, initiated the convening of the Congress of Deputies of all levels of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The decision is up to the Supreme Council, according to the current legislation. The deputy corps will have to determine the date and location of the Congress, the agenda and the norm of representation for local Councils if the presidential initiative is supported.
