The most worthy citizens of the republic were honored in Tiraspol

The ceremony of presenting state awards of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in honor of the 31st anniversary of the formation of the PMR is taking place on the stage site of the Tiraspol Catherine Park. The most worthy citizens were honored, approximately seventy people were awarded. Orders and medals were presented by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov and First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Tatyana Kirova.

The ceremony was preceded by the President's greeting and congratulatory speech. Addressing the participants of the solemn meeting and in their person to all residents and guests of the republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky stressed that the Pridnestrovian state was founded in accordance with the legal realities of the time, relying on international law, and most importantly - by the will of the people, expressed in numerous referendums and gatherings. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic recalled facts important for the history of the Pridnestrovian statehood, naming specific dates, events and documents, the adoption of which led to the creation of the republic.

Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that much has changed over the decades that have passed since the formation of Pridnestrovie, but the unity of the Pridnestrovian people, their internationality, diligence, loyalty to history, respect for heroic ancestors remain unchanged. Emphasizing that it was these values ​​that were defended by the defenders of Pridnestrovie with weapons in their hands, Vadim Krasnoselsky called for a minute of silence to commemorate those who did not live to this day.

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic spoke about the development of the country, infrastructural changes, the fight against coronavirus and state programs, recalled that 2022 was declared the Year of Healthcare in Pridnestrovie.

Vadim Krasnoselsky called today's ceremony of honoring the most worthy citizens a good tradition, and the recognition of achievements – deserved.

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic greeted the founders of the republic, defenders of Pridnestrovie and veterans present at the event, thanked the people and the leadership of the Russian Federation for their support, and addressed all Pridnestrovians with words of congratulations.
