The monument to medical workers, who participated in the Great Patriotic War and local wars, as well as in the elimination of emergencies and their consequences, was solemnly unveiled in front of the building of the Medical Faculty of the Pridnestrovian State University a year ago. The tradition was established at the same time to bring flowers to the memorial sign as a sign of inexhaustible gratitude to the heroes in white coats and the eternal memory of those who gave their lives to save others. Another ceremony took place today. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, heads of the legislative and executive branches of Government, the leadership of the Ministry of Health, chief doctors of the leading medical institutions of the republic, veterans of the medical service lowered flowers to the pedestal of the monument on the eve of the Day of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Worker.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the immeasurable significance and value of the work of healthcare workers. The President expressed gratitude to all the orderlies, nurses and medical brothers, doctors, the leadership of medical institutions and the relevant ministry for their noble work and dedication. He called the salvation of people their vocation.
