The Moldovan village of Condrita hosts a meeting of the delegations of Pridnestrovie and Moldova, headed by the presidents

Opening the main part of the official meeting of the delegations of Pridnestrovie and Moldova, Igor Dodon noted that he was glad to continue the dialogue at the highest level, which began in 2017. According to him, the coronavirus pandemic slowed down the negotiation process. The President of the Republic of Moldova emphasized that the situation with the spread of coronavirus was not easy. He noted that he knows about the measures taken by Pridnestrovians in the fight against infection, and also noted that the incidence in Moldova is still high, but the country's leadership is making every effort to resist the massive spread of coronavirus.

The head of the host delegation outlined the main issues on the agenda of today's meeting, stressing that they had been previously agreed upon. Proposed topics for discussion include the functioning of temporary quarantine posts, telecommunications, banking, the closure of criminal cases, the launch of the Bendery-Varnitsa trolleybus line and others.

Vadim Krasnoselsky called the meeting important, noting that the solution of issues that remain on the agenda for more than one year depends on its results. The PMR President indicated his readiness for dialogue. He confirmed that the agenda was formed jointly. The Head of the Pridnestrovian State considers the participation of the leaders of expert (working) groups working in specific areas in the discussion as a significant aspect. This format of the meeting will allow discussing and working out in detail specific issues, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

All the participants in the meeting agreed that the agenda on the initiative of either side can be expanded in the course of work. The leaders called for an active exchange of views in order to develop a common consolidated position on each item of the negotiations. Today's dialogue and the decisions taken will form the basis for the further work of the "Permanent Conference ..." format.
