The main component of the program of events dedicated to the Day of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is the Military Parade. It invariably takes place on the main square of the capital. The difference this year is that the parade united two reasons - the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 and the 30th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian statehood. History and modernity, the heroic past and the acting defenders of freedom, independence and peace on the Pridnestrovian land met at the same time and on the same site.

The festive action was opened by the PMR State flags and the Victory Banner - an exact copy of the canvas that was 75 years ago over the defeated Reichstag.

The parade was commanded by the Chief of the Main Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Sergei Gerasyutenko, parade was inspected by the PMR Minister of Defense, Major General Oleg Obruchkov, who rose to the main platform with a report to the Commander-in-Chief of the PMR Armed Forces Vadim Krasnoselsky on the readiness of the troops. The President addressed the participants of the parade, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, defenders of Pridnestrovie and all Pridnestrovians with a greeting and congratulatory speech before the movement of military personnel, equipment and weapons began.

Vadim Krasnoselsky called to honor the memory of the dead and deceased defenders with a minute of silence.

Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude for the fraternal friendship, support and peace of the Russian Federation, and wished all compatriots peace, happiness, prosperity, kindness and success.
