The international festival "Musical Spring of Pridnestrovie" was held for the 12th time, bringing together eminent and young talents performing classical music. Final concert was held today at the Palace of the Republic. It was held in the format of the anniversary evening, dedicating to the creative work of the PMR People's Artist Grigory Moseyko, who celebrates his 70th anniversary this year, as well as half a century of creative activity and the 20th anniversary of his work as artistic director and chief conductor of the PMR State Symphony Orchestra. The President of Pridnestrovie and his wife arrived to congratulate the artist and enjoy the musical embodiment of his multifaceted talent. During the festive event, they repeatedly returned to the professionalism, inexhaustible energy and efficiency, creative mobility and pedagogical generosity of Grigoriy Moseyko - holder of the titles “Man of the Year”, Merited Artist of the PMR and Honored Artist of the Republic of South Ossetia, as well as numerous state awards. Today the prize collections of the eminent conductor was replenished. The PMR President personally presented the Order of Friendship to the hero of the day.
Congratulating the conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted: “You are a bright musician, a talented conductor, a competent leader. You have earned the respect and love of the viewer, the listener, your fans, students, the whole nation. Here they are - the role of the person and the providence of God. By coincidence, you arrived to Tiraspol, became part of the Pridnestrovian society, part of the Pridnestrovian people. Practically from scratch, without instruments, without musicians, without a music library, you created a masterpiece - a symphony orchestra. You raised the music to a new level. I will say thanks to those who created the conditions for you to leave Chisinau and come to us. They definitely lost, and we certainly gained. Today, a symphony orchestra is a team of professionals. You gave the future to many talented musicians, created the conditions for their talent to be shown and to serve the people. You glorify Pridnestrovie in the world. When the PMR State Symphony Orchestra plays, it is not necessary to agitate for recognition of Pridnestrovie. This is recognition - through culture, through music, through your talent. Many thanks for your talent, for the brightness, for serving the people of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”.
