The Head of Bendery administration Roman Ivanchenko in the course of the meeting at the presidential executive office, said that the city's infrastructure renovation program financed by the Capital Investment Fund had been worked out not only for next year, but also for a five-year perspective. If they manage to fully implement it, then by 2026, roofs and facades will be repaired at all educational and cultural facilities, windows and heating systems will be replaced. The money is planned to be allocated for the repair of schools No. 13 and No. 17. It is necessary to complete the work begun this year in kindergarten No. 26 (Severny microdistrict). The roof and window blocks in this preschool institution have already been replaced, the slopes are being tidied, the heating system in the entire building has been reconstructed, as well as the kitchen ventilation. Four groups will accept young pupils next week. The work will continue, including next year. It is necessary to completely renovate re-equip the catering unit, bathrooms, piping, shady canopies in the playgrounds. The completion of the work requires 2.1 million rubles, informed Roman Ivanchenko.

The plans for the next year include the repair of the retaining wall of the overpass near the Floare factory. Now the transfer of the rail access road is being documented. The necessary work (replacement of 15 concrete slabs) will require more than a million rubles.

As for the improvement of city streets and squares: according to Roman Ivanchenko, increased attention was paid to residential areas in 2020, the administration considers it expedient to take on the city center in 2021. It is planned that pedestrian zone will be landscaped from the Palace of Culture named after Tkachenko to the station "Bendery-1". The square in front of the House of Culture will also qualitatively change. The fountain is planned to be reconstructed with granite finishing. A "dry" fountain with illumination will be built nearby and a playground will be located. The park will be musical: sound-amplifying equipment will be placed on the lighting poles. The stylistics of small architectural forms is still under discussion. Some projects presented today to the attention of the President are dedicated to landscaping, including the Liberation Square. The suppliers of the required material have already been identified. Residents of Bendery are planning to pave the entire Lenin Street with paving slabs. Granite will be used in its production - for durability. An important aspect: the overhead wires will disappear, the cable will be lowered into the ground.

Having listened to the report, the President gave a number of practical recommendations and current instructions, recalling that the Head of administration must personally control implementation of projects within the framework of the capital investment program.
