The Operational Headquarters Decisions

Readiness of educational institutions to return all schoolchildren and students to classrooms was among the topics discussed by members of the Operational Headquarters under the President. The date for resumption of full-time education is 15 February. The data of the past two weeks indicate the presence of facts of infection among students who returned to their desks on February 1 (primary and graduate classes), but there is no talk of an increase in the incidence. The upcoming final certification of schoolchildren was also discussed in the course of the meeting. Ninth graders will take two compulsory exams in writing, mother tongue and mathematics. As for the Unified State Exam for eleventh graders, there is a proposal not to conduct tests in every school (such an initiative was announced earlier), but to organize examination points in the largest schools. Presumably, there will be 30 such points (twice as many as in previous, pre-pandemic years). There are 94 schools in the republic in total, in which the release of certified students is planned for the current year, said profile minister Alla Nikolyuk.

They discussed advisability of removing a number of restrictions for citizens using public electric transport services in the course of the meeting. Now everyone can use trolleybuses - without age restrictions. Passengers must have masks. The number of passengers remains limited - by the number of seats.

It was proposed at the request of citizens to remove age restrictions and to visit public swimming pools (children under three years old and persons over 65 years old are deprived of this opportunity according to the current norms).

The President asked about distribution of new ambulances. According to the Minister of Healthcare Christina Albul, four specialized FORD vehicles will be allocated for Tiraspol (Republican Emergency Medical Center) and four for Rybnitsa, two vehicles are allocated for Slobodzeya and two for Dubossary, three vehicles will be allocated for Bendery and three for Grigoriopol, one vehicles will be allocated for Kamenka and one vehicle for Dnestrovsk. On the instructions of the President, an audit of the old vehicle fleet was carried out. Six cars have been decommissioned, three are subject to overhaul, 14 ambulances will be kept in the health care system to serve patients in rural areas, five vehicles in good condition will be transferred to other departments.
