Working discussion with members of the Operational Headquarters

The issue of complaints from residents of the republic about the quality of medical services in coronavirus hospitals was again discussed in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the PMR President. The President informed the interlocutors about the check carried out on his behalf last Friday that covered nine institutions involved in the treatment of COVID patients. The inspectors communicated with patients, interviewing from 20% to 50% of citizens in each of the hospitals. In general, citizens assess the work of doctors positively. Discontent on some aspects was expressed, but they are not widespread. The exception is the hospital at the Tirotex dispensary. Citizens undergoing treatment there and those who were transferred to other hospitals note the low organizational level and unsatisfactory quality of medical care. The President made a decision to change the Head of this branch and reassign the medical institution. The hospital based on the dispensary that now belongs to the republican clinical hospital, and not the hospital for veterans, was temporarily headed by Deputy Minister of Health Alexander Kuznetsov. Vadim Krasnoselsky called the check necessary. He rated the activities of the medical staff of COVID hospitals quite high. The President pointed out that faults on the ground must be immediately corrected. The documented opinions of patients and the conclusions of the commission were transferred to the leadership of the Ministry of Health and chief doctors for information and response.

The President asked about readiness for operation of the oxygen station in Slobodzeya. It is necessary to strengthen the power supply network at the facility. The work is in progress.

The chief sanitary doctor of the republic Natalya Beril reported on the readiness for vaccination of the population. 11 vaccination centers are being opened in various localities. 900 doses of AstraZeneca have been distributed. Doctors will begin to vaccinate - exclusively on voluntary basis. If there are more vaccines of this type than doctors who want to get it, then the opportunity to get vaccinated against coronavirus will be provided to all those Pridnestrovians who wish. This is the instruction of the President. It was noted that each vaccinated citizen will be entered into appropriate database and will receive a corresponding international certificate. Pfizer vaccines are expected to arrive in the republic on Monday. It will need to be used within five days - this is the shelf life of the medicine. There is still no certainty regarding the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he will go to Moscow to resolve on the spot in the coming days, including this issue.

The topic of students' studies was discussed at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters. Most of them are on the so-called remote control. The mixed form is for graduates. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the rules are the same for everyone - both for state educational institutions and for commercial ones.

They talked about the format of training for the Suvorov Military College pupils, cadets and pupils of closed-type social institutions. It is considered that it is safer to organize it in person, temporarily isolating children on the territory of educational institutions. The decision is up to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service.
