The presidential program for construction of affordable housing continues: another apartment building for public sector employees was commissioned in Bendery

Another apartment building was commissioned in Bendery (Kishinevskaya Str). The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the ceremony. He congratulated the new settlers - public sector employees, most of whom are law enforcement personnel of Pridnestrovie. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has extensive experience in providing personnel with their own apartments. The ministry has been actively involved in the presidential program for the construction of affordable housing. The high-rise building in Bendery is the seventh facility, in the construction of which the law enforcement agency took part, providing housing for its employees.

There are 60 apartments in new building. There are 2-, 3- and even 4-room apartments. The latter appeared in the project due to the disappeared need for elevators. Initially, the house was conceived as a nine-story building, with an elevator connection of course. Construction was suspended many years ago on the fourth floor. It was decided to limit to five floors after the inclusion of this incomplete construction to the Program on the basis of long-term construction of cooperative housing. Considering that elevators are not needed at such a height, the project shafts were used as additional living space, the President was told today. The works on this object were carried out exactly one year. It was necessary to provide the building with all communications. The President drew attention to the infrastructure improvement that has become a distinctive feature of the houses, in the construction of which the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part. The entrances are tiled and illuminated, intercoms are installed. The adjacent territory is well-groomed and landscaped, there is a playground and a parking lot. The installation of video surveillance cameras in the yard is planned for the near future.

Handing over the keys to the new settlers, the President expressed gratitude to them for believing in the success of this project and congratulated them on important event - the purchase of their own housing. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that this is the tenth residential building that has replaced the long-term construction, and emphasizeded that the successful socially significant program will continue to operate. The words of the president's gratitude were addressed to everyone who took part in the “revitalization” of concrete boxes that have been idle for decades.
