Presidential Inspectorate for Districts of the Republic: Kamenka

Today's working day of the President is mobile. Vadim Krasnoselsky plans to go around the north and central part of the republic with inspection. Offsite meetings with the participation of the leadership of towns and districts are included to the schedule. Locations are determined based on the necessity to assess on the spot and discuss progress in the implementation of certain projects. It is mainly about the execution of the capital investment program. The presidential inspection has started in Kamenka with a cabinet meeting at the site of the State Administration. The delegation went to the park of culture and recreation of Peter Wittgenstein then. The leadership of the country and the district communicated there with the chief architect and the heads of the contractors employed at the facility.

The renowned park is the largest object in Kamenka, which is being reconstructed at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund. The President insisted on its inclusion in the state program. He considers the park area not only leisure, but also historical.

Inspection began from the entrance to the park. The President paid attention to the fence. The installation of metal structures has been completed. The base is plastered and waiting for stone finishing. Work on the design of the entrance arch at the finishing stage. The President recommended moving away from the tiled cladding and to give preference to the stone like in the case with the fence. As for the work inside the park area: approximately 3000 squares are covered with paving slabs today. This is a third of the planned volume. The steps of the park hills are being updated. Contractors had doubts about whether to keep the stairs from the time of the founding prince of the park or build new ones. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it expedient to functionally refresh the location, but at the same time preserve the old steps as a decorative element. A corresponding information plate will tell visitors about the historical aspect.

Discussing future park bridges, they came to the conclusion that it makes no sense to build air crossings "over land". They should be primarily functional, which means they will be located above water bodies. Walking around the territory, Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that the platforms on which the benches are installed rise above the tiled surface. Such a drop may turn out to be traumatic, the President considers. Instructions were given to fix it.

The interlocutors during the inspection came to conclusion that tiled covering of the memorial does not require replacement. It will simply be cleaned.

The construction of a rollerdrome, a playground and a workout area is at the initial stage. There is a hill in the center of this sector. There is a proposal to preserve it, improve it and use it as a viewing platform for observing what is happening in the sports area. The President supported the idea.

It is not the first time that the President visits the House of Culture in Kamenka. General construction work continues here. The director of the recreation center Anatoly Derevchuk said that the electrical installation work had been completed. A suspended ceiling is installed on the second floor. They change the floor tiles, decorate the staircase, paint the walls. Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended using light colors. Additional funds were found to carry out repairs in the offices (so far only one room has been put in order). Work continues directly in the hall of the House of Culture. This is mainly finishing. They try to preserve the elements of the wall decor. The floor needs repair, said Vadim Krasnoselsky. This year's budget does not allow it. The audience seats will be replaced in the future. It was decided during the meeting that the flooring will also be renewed. The work planned for the current year will be completed in autumn.
