The President met with the staff of the PMR Ministry of State Security

Domestic and foreign policy, departmental activities, issues of public and everyday sense - all this was discussed today at the PMR Ministry of State Security during the meeting of the PMR President with the state security officials. The format of free conversation has already become familiar to this kind of events. Welcoming the staff of the department, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he considered communication with the personnel of the structural units useful. The practice of previous meetings confirmed their feasibility.

The interlocutors asked the President about relations with Moldova, Ukraine and Russia, noting the decline in the activity of interstate contacts in some areas. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded of the Pridnestrovian position of good neighborliness and constructive interaction with the leadership of other states in the composition determined by the people. The PMR President emphasized that Pridnestrovie under any circumstances follows its convictions, traditions and principles based on self-respect and unity of the society. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the recent visit of representative delegation of European ambassadors visiting the republic, noting that communication with foreign diplomats and officials is aimed at informing foreigners about the true state of affairs in Pridnestrovie, acquaintance with the culture, achievements, and opportunities of the republic. They spoke at the meeting about the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, as part of the Russian world. Emphasis was placed on the fact that Pridnestrovie and Russia are multinational, because manifestations of nationalism and chauvinism are unacceptable for both countries. “We are close in spirit with Russia. We have representatives of 72 nationalities, in the Russian Federation - more than two hundred. Everyone is in pari causa, no one is oppressed with rights, supporting linguistic and cultural diversity. We are not on the way with mononational states”, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.

They talked today about public diplomacy, foundations of Pridnestrovian statehood, the level of interaction between state structures, the ideology and the role of the units of the MGB in its formation, as well as the work of the media and information policy. Employees of the internal political department propose to create a department on the basis of the engineering and technical faculty of the PGU that would train specialists in the field of information technology security. The President supported the idea, noting at the same time that an important aspect is the provision of an educational institution with qualified teachers of this profile. Among the initiatives voiced during the conversation is the construction of tactical complex for training special-purpose units within the framework of the Operational Anti-Terrorism Headquarters.

Among the topics raised are Measures aimed at staffing the department, likelihood of carrying out pension reform in Pridnestrovie, improving the system for calculating the length of service for certain categories of military personnel. There were also requests for assistance in resolving certain situations of a private nature. Following the meeting, the President gave a number of instructions. He noted that communication with teams allows identifying problematic aspects in a particular area and isolating problems that concern society as a whole. Expressing gratitude to the interlocutors for the detailed conversation, the President called it interesting and useful for him, as a citizen and leader of the country.
