The President held a scheduled meeting of the Operational Headquarters to prevent the spread of coronavirus

Regular meeting of the Operational Headquarters for the Prevention of the Spread of Infection in Pridnestrovie was held at the presidential executive office. The meeting was chaired by Vadim Krasnoselsky. He emphasized that in the new conditions for the republic, as well as for the whole world, there is no threat, verified algorithm of actions, therefore decisions are made according to the circumstances. It is important that they are as precautionary as possible, the President noted, emphasizing the value of the experience of other states.

The participants in the meeting heard a summary of the data presented by the Head of the Operational Headquarters. According to Ruslan Mova, there are currently 22 people in the coronavirus hospital created on the basis of Slobodzeya hospital. The presence of COVID-19 was diagnosed in two of them. Infected patients are placed in isolated boxes. Their health condition is moderate. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out work to establish a circle of contacts of patients. The citizens are under supervision of doctors. A thorough disinfection of house entrances at the place of residence of infected Pridnestrovians was carried out in an expeditious manner. By joint efforts of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Housing and Public Utilities, the entrances of all residential buildings, adjoining territories, playgrounds and places of authorized storage of household waste will undergo specialized processing, the Head of the Operational Headquarters said.

Since the introduction of state of emergency in Pridnestrovie, 732 foreign citizens have been denied entry (totally 1 146 refusals since the end of January). Last night 63 citizens of the PMR entered the territory of Pridnestrovie (501 people during the state of emergency). They are prescribed strict self-isolation at the place of residence. 14 passes were issued for the departure of vehicles outside the republic, and justified exit was allowed for 41 citizens. The Ministry of Internal Affairs hotline received more than six thousand calls and appeals from citizens related to measures to prevent the spread of infection, Ruslan Mova informed.

Patrols run through the settlements. 330 employees of internal affairs bodies (including cadets TUI) are involved. There are 35 medical institutions and 58 large retail outlets in the area of ​​their supervision. Totally, approximately two thousand objects were checked for compliance with quarantine requirements. The Department for fighting against Economic crimes monitors the implementation of legislative norms on prices, tariffs and pricing (inspectors visited more than 900 stores, markets, pharmacies). Increased attention is paid to monitoring compliance with epidemiological measures at trade facilities. To date, the activity of 570 institutions has been suspended (about a hundred sports, 327 entertainment and shopping facilities, one and a half hundred hairdressing salons).

The operational headquarters considers it expedient to tighten quarantine. Decision was made after detailed discussion to temporarily suspend the activities of all retail facilities that sell non-food products. According to decision agreed with the Heads of state administrations, only meat, dairy and fish shopping units will operate in the central markets of Tiraspol, Bendery, Dubossary and Kamenka - subject to all quarantine requirements. The sale of fruits, vegetables and other products in open air is prohibited. Public transport is suspended. Enterprises and organizations are required to provide for the delivery of people to the place of work. In addition, managers are encouraged to maximize the use of remote work of specialists. The exit of citizens from home should be minimized and justified by a clear official need. Remote work mechanisms are also being worked out in the Ministry of Industry. There is no technical possibility to organize it centrally.

The President asked about the readiness of the premises of the hospital in Slobodzeya for mass (if necessary) patient reception. Organizational work continues there. An additional generator has been delivered to ensure uninterrupted power supply. On behalf of the President, other facilities are also being prepared. In case it is not possible to keep the spread of the virus, and a number of cases will be in the hundreds, the places of the Dnestrovsky Dawns and Solnechny sanatoriums, as well as dispensary are considered as their location. Today the President together with management of the Operational Headquarters, will visit all potential centers for accommodation of infected citizens in order to assess their condition, the possibility of placing beds, and the amount of necessary preparatory work.

Another presidential decision made under the state of emergency is a temporary re-subordination of the sanitary-epidemiological service to the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs. Today there are 45 sanitary doctors and epidemiologists in the republic, as well as 85 people of secondary medical personnel working in this direction.

Considering the peculiarities of the situation in Pridnestrovie, the Operational Headquarters also have to decide issues related, for example, to the receipt of a Russian pension by our citizens. Organized delivery of pensioners to the village of Varnitsa - a nearby village where cash withdrawal is available at cash dispenser. The operational headquarters provides not only transport, as such, but also high-quality disinfection of the passenger compartment and compartment, as well as personal protective equipment for drivers and passengers.

The issue of tailoring of medical masks and gowns was discussed during the meeting. By Friday evening, 51 000 masks were made. Today, another delivery of finished products from Tirotex and Odema factories is expected. Considering that the declared initial need of agencies involved in preventing the spread of coronavirus is practically covered, from today half of the volume of products produced in the future will go to retail. Factories are ready to start the production of overalls. The number should be sufficient to ensure frequent turnover, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky.

Another pressing issue is the effect of the program for treatment of acute coronary syndrome. Successfully implemented, it allows saving the lives of patients who, by agreement, are promptly delivered to Chisinau medical facilities. Despite strict quarantine and the state of emergency, it was decided to keep this program in effect. Citizens in need of urgent medical care will continue to be transported to neighboring state - with all possible security measures being followed.

The situation in Varnitsa - a village where two cases of coronavirus disease were detected, and bordering with Bendery microdistrict "Severny" was discussed in the course of the meeting. These territories are under special quarantine control, in strict isolation. Groceries are delivered there in a timely manner and in sufficient quantities. Tight control of the movement of citizens is provided.

Concluding the meeting, Vadim Krasnoselsky called for consolidation and coordination of actions. A meeting will be held in the afternoon. The Operational Headquarters will be assembled as necessary.
