The President took part in the meeting of the Consultative Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies

Communication with the founders of the republic took place online, like most of the meetings held during the pandemic. Vadim Krasnoselsky, anticipating the discussion part of the meeting, outlined the main directions of the state's life in 2020, focusing in detail on three factors that became decisive for the past year. “The first factor is coronavirus infection, under the influence of which the whole world has changed. The second factor is foreign policy. First of all, it is about the electoral processes in the Republic of Moldova. The third factor is the drought that hit our agricultural producers. These factors slowed down, but did not stop the progress of the republic”, stated Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The participants in the discussion asked the President about consequences of the pandemic, were interested in the equipment of COVID hospitals and the state of health facilities in general. They talked about prospects for vaccination against coronavirus in Pridnestrovie. Vadim Krasnoselsky paid special attention to the role of doctors in the fight against the epidemic. He spoke about the need for a sensitive attitude towards patients and the inadmissibility of rudeness. At the same time, he noted the high burden on the Pridnestrovian doctors, their great dedication and professionalism, thanks to which the epidemiological situation in the country remains under control.

Vasily Cherny, a delegate to the II Extraordinary Congress of Deputies of all levels, was interested in the fate of the tomography that should soon appear in Dubossary, and also noted that Kamenka needed such diagnostic equipment. Vadim Krasnoselsky informed that there are five tomographs in Pridnestrovie at the moment. As soon as the opportunity arises, the tomographs will be installed in Kamenka and Grigoriopol, the President assured.

The participants of the meeting discussed the consequences of the drought. They talked about the measures that the state had taken to provide assistance to the affected agricultural producers, about tax benefits and prolongation of loans, about the need to restore the land reclamation complex of the republic and expand the area of ​​irrigated land.

Vadim Krasnoselsky, concluding the meeting, thanked the members of the Consultative Assembly for their active participation in the life of the state and emphasized the value for him of a direct dialogue with the founders of the republic.
