The President communicated with militia officers

The communication of the President with the collectives of various ministries, departments, public services is systemic. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers this practice to be an important component of the interaction between public authorities and society. An open dialogue without intermediaries allows to receive reliable information from the source, to hear different opinions, to assess the situation based on your own conclusions, to make decisions quickly - this is the position of the President. Today he spoke with representatives of the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs. The conversation took place at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Approximately two hundred people gathered in the assembly hall - employees of various units, including territorial, as well as future law enforcement officers: cadets from Tirspol Law Institute and cadets. Welcoming the interlocutors, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he was counting on a mutually interesting conversation, emphasizing that the questions often raised during this kind of discussion formed the basis of presidential instructions, legislative initiatives, and thematic meeting agendas.

The meeting participants asked the President about the likelihood of revising the suspended benefits for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, progress in resolving the issue of obtaining Russian citizenship by Pridnestrovians and applying maternity capital in the republic, measures taken at the state level to retain youth in their homeland, and further prospects for implementing an affordable housing program. They asked the PMR President about details of the meeting with his Moldovan counterpart Igor Dodon and the agreements reached as a result. They touched on the implementation of the protocol decision on vehicle plates of a neutral sample. They talked about participation of militia in educational work. They talked about projects being implemented with the direct participation of militia officers, the purpose of which is to instill in children and young people the skills of safe behavior on roads. It is proposed to include in the school curriculum a course or additional hours on the subject of the basis of life safety, devoted to the study of traffic rules. This initiative will be directed to the Ministry of Education. Another issue related to the rules of the road, more precisely to fixing their violations, is related to the need to purchase modern photo and video equipment. Vadim Krasnoselsky, referring to world statistics, according to which approximately 1.5 million people die in road traffic accidents each year, emphasized the importance of high-quality equipment for services responsible for road safety. According to the President of, the situation in Pridnestrovie is much better than in neighboring states, but nevertheless, constant monitoring and the use of all available mechanisms are needed to ensure maximum safety for all road users. Updating the material and technical base is a task not only departmental, but also the state level task, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The question of purchasing new equipment to determine the degree of intoxication of citizens was redirected to the Ministry of Health. At the request of the Head of the Forensic Center of PMR, the possibility of allocating funds from the state treasury for the purchase of supplies necessary for various studies, in particular DNA, will be studied. Expensive (expenses amount to approximately 1.5 million rubles per year), they are now acquired through the provision of paid services by the center, and therefore the state institution has no funds left for updating and replenishing devices and equipment. Vadim Krasnoselsky supposes that this is not one-time allocation of money: financing of this article should be systemic. The Minister was instructed to immediately provide the necessary documents so that lawmakers could quickly examine it, if a positive decision was made, to make adjustments to the draft budget for next year.

Another issue of material and technical orientation is the state of buildings in which some units of the internal affairs bodies are located. They spoke, in particular, about Bendery militia. The structural units of traffic control are located today in five buildings, each of which needs major repairs. The city leadership transferred to the balance sheet of the Department of Internal Affairs the building of the former school No. 1 (Shestakova St.), where it is planned to assemble five units. Its technical condition requires serious financial investments. Bendery law enforcement officers asked to include this object in the capital investment program. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he was familiar with the situation and personally participated in the selection of a building for the compact and convenient in terms of logistics and infrastructure neighborhood accommodation units in Bendery. With regard to financing, the President recalled the allocation of 13 million rubles to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which will be used to upgrade the infrastructure. In addition, the city should take a feasible part in solving this problem, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky. The meeting participants drew the President's attention to the fact that cars of militia were not purchased at the expense of city and district budgets for three years. The issue of updating the fleet will be raised at the next video conference with the Heads of state administrations, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The topic of training and raising the level of officers’ skills was discussed. The President drew attention to the high quality of Pridnestrovian education and the full-fledged system of training specialists for departments of the power block. As for going to study outside the republic, it is possible in the case when it comes to narrow-profile specialties. They asked the President if the harmonization of Pridnestrovian norms with the Russian name of the law enforcement agency would affect it. The answer of Vadim Krasnoselsky is unequivocal: Pridnestrovian militia will not become police. The participants in the extended meeting discussed the level of public confidence in law enforcement officials. They talked about the significance, specificity and complexity of the work of representatives of the internal affairs bodies. Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke of a special respect for the militia uniform and that he did not lose contacts with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The President said that he would not be able to take part in the upcoming celebrations on the occasion of the Militia Day (November 10), therefore he congratulated the interlocutors and their colleagues in advance on the upcoming professional holiday.
