The President supported decision to isolate the staff of the Moldavian hydro-electric power plant

On the eve it became known that one of the employees of Moldavian hydro-electric power plant, located in Slobodzeya hospital, confirmed COVID-19. Information about this was received from the Chisinau laboratory. The Operational Headquarters to prevent the spread of the virus decided to protect the employees with external contacts taking into consideration that this citizen, in the framework of his duties, was in contact with a large number of station employees. This measure will help protect family members and environment of potential circulators of infection from possible infection. Taking into consideration that we are talking about part of the workforce, there is no need to suspend the work process. The station will continue to function. Workers will be delivered in shifts to the place of work and to the Solnechny sanatorium, where a quarantine center for employees of Moldavian hydro-electric power plant is located. It is approximately 400 people. At the moment, 138 of them are placed in the isolator. Beds and bedding were brought to the sanatorium in the required quantity. Nutrition is organized. In the near future, coolers with drinking water will be brought. Contacts with relatives are not allowed for the next two weeks. You can transfer the necessary things to isolated citizens exclusively by means of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which manages the sanatorium.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and Minister of Internal Affairs Ruslan Mova visited the Dniester isolation ward, examined the premises, talked to forced residents. Everyone is aware that isolation is a necessary measure to fight the spread of the virus.
