The PMR President instructed to increase the number of lanes at the customs point “Bendery (Chisinau)”

The PMR President visited the customs checkpoint Bendery (Chisinau). The purpose of the visit is to assess the possibility of expanding the area of the customs point. This measure is necessary to speed up the process of customs clearance and passport control, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, emphasizing that this section is the most loaded in terms of the number of vehicles crossing the border of Pridnestrovie in both directions. Additional lanes will be provided for tourists. Registration for them is planned to be carried out in an expedited manner. In addition, it is planned to issue tourist passport for users of these lanes. The plans include placing at the customs point of the information board with information that can interest and facilitate the movement of guests in the republic.

The practical implementation of the project is assigned for the administration of Bendery. The issue of expanding the territory of the customs point "Bendery (Chisinau)" is coordinated with the Ministry of State Security and the PMR State Customs Committee. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, in the future, other customs checkpoints, located in the busiest highways are expected to increase the area both in the Moldovan and the Ukrainian direction.
