The President examined a number of institutions of Dubossary and Grigoriopol

The President, accompanied by the leadership of the Operational Headquarters for the Prevention of Spread of the Virus on the Territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, visited Dubossary facilities, which, if necessary, will serve as coronavirus medical isolators. First of all, the local hospital is on the basis of the Dubossary Central District Hospital. The main building is ready to accept one and a half hundred people. Another 50 will accommodate the infectious ward and 20 - the provisional. If the need for these beds arises, then citizens who are on treatment for diseases not related to COVID-19 will be discharged or transferred to medical institutions in other cities of the republic that are not involved as infectious isolation wards. To date, the measures have already been taken to minimize the number of patients in the hospital. After the mass discharge, there are 70 people in the Dubossary district hospital.

In the event of a negative scenario, suggesting that there would be insufficiently 220 places in the Dubossary hospital, a quarantine center for citizens awaiting the results of laboratory tests for the presence of coronavirus will be organized on the site of the children's recreation camp. Two buildings can accommodate up to 360 people at a time. The premises are provided with water supply and sewage system. The camp has a dining room and kitchen for organizing meals of their own preparation. The administrations of both institutions are ready to reprofile when necessary.

There are less opportunities in Grigoriopol. In the district hospital, the vacated pediatric building is empty (this department has been transferred to a renovated three-story building), but it does not meet the requirements of an infectious diseases medical facility - it is not provided with water and sewage. Previously, the topic of these works was discussed, but exclusively for the future. Perhaps in the circumstances, this task will be assigned to the priority. The issue will be discussed in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters.
