The President is on a working visit to Slobodzeya district

The working day of the PMR President began in Slobodzeya district. The President met with the head of the local state administration. The current state of affairs was discussed. Particular attention was paid to the agriculture of the region. The agricultural sector is the basis of Slobodzeya economy. Agricultural land occupies 71675 hectares of land: 65084 hectares are arable land, almost five thousand hectares are perennial plantations, and 1603 hectares are pastures. 39306 hectares were sown with winter crops for this year's harvest, 26748 hectares with spring crops, and 1224 hectares with vegetable crops. Vasily Tishchenko recalled that the district he heads annually collects about hundreds of thousands of tons of grain of the first group and occupies a leading position in the republic in growing vegetables. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about progress in the development of the reclamation complex. According to the head of the district, the area of irrigated land has been quadrupled and amounts to 12532 hectares in five years. Irrigated lands owned by 75 land users. 10.5 million rubles have been allocated for the construction of pressure pipelines of the head pumping station in the village of Chobruchi for three years (including the current one). The President was told that the intensity of involvement of new agricultural firms and their cultivated land in the land reclamation system is not decreasing. For example, sprinklers were purchased that will serve 1100 hectares of land in the village of Korotkoe. Internal networks were laid in this area. Local pumping equipment was purchased. The irrigation system is being actively developed in the floodplain zones of the villages of Korotnoe and Glinoe.

Vadim Krasnoselsky decided to visit the head pumping station in Chobruchi village. The Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Oleg Diligul, who participated in the presidential inspection, said that a three-kilometer water supply line (pipeline diameter 1200 mm) was restored here last year. They are implementing the second stage of reconstruction – they are updating the right branch in the direction of Korotnoe-Glinoe. The goal is to cover 5000 hectares of land with the help of this station in the future. This is the design capacity of the Chobruchi head pumping station. The meeting participants discussed the state of affairs at other pumping stations, the restoration, modernization and development of which allows increasing the area of irrigated land, reducing the risks of land users and raising the region's economy to a new level.

The President, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the head of the district and the head of the profile department of the state administration, visited the production base of Octavian LLC today. The lands of the agricultural firm are located in the village of Korotnoye. The area of agricultural land is 430 hectares, said the head of the enterprise Dmitry Yurosh. The arable land is sown with winter crops: 90 hectares of wheat, 40 hectares of barley, 81.7 hectares of rapeseed, as well as oilseed sunflower (60 hectares), corn for silage (80 hectares) and perennial grasses (29.1 hectares of the current year, 50 hectares of past years). An important component of this agribusiness is animal husbandry. The President visited the farm.

The number of cattle here exceeds two hundred units. A dozen and a half calves were born on the farm in the first quarter of this year. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked if there was state support. The businessman confirmed its significance and weight, spoke about subsidies for milk. The amount of payments from 2018 to 2023 exceeded 2.6 million rubles, in December 2022 and almost 190 thousand the first quarter of the current year. Vasily Tishchenko indicated that state support for livestock breeders who donate milk for industrial processing amounted to 8.5 million rubles over five years in the whole district. Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in the labor collective. The enterprise which is already about a quarter of a century old  employs 11 people now – five members of the Yurosh family and six hired workers.

Pik-Agro is another agricultural enterprise visited by the delegation headed by the President. The company's lands include 2.5 thousand hectares located in Nezavertailovka. 1627 hectares of winter wheat, 408.6 hectares of corn and 507 hectares of sunflower were sown for harvest-2023. There are 200 hectares under irrigation. Another 750 are expected to be included in the reclamation system this year. An important component of the company's infrastructure is granaries with a capacity of about 6 thousand tons. The President asked about technical support. The company's fleet includes four modern combines, almost two dozen tractors, and grain carriers. This is enough not only for their own production needs, but also for leasing. The interlocutors discussed the various equipment technical features. They focused on the pros and cons of various manufacturers. The farmers said that Belarusian combines are the best option today by the ratio of price and quality. Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in the markets for Pik-Agro products. They are sold both within the republic and abroad.

The President after touring the agricultural enterprises of Slobodzeya district drove into the park in Pervomaisk, where a new church is being built. The progress that was discussed at a recent meeting was assessed on the spot. He asked if the playground next to the church was thought out. It is provided. The foundation has been laid. Vadim Krasnoselsky talked to specialists who make church domes on the spot. Four small domes are ready. They are working on the main dome now. The PMR President was interested in technology and materials used. He asked if they follow the schedule. Work is progressing on the schedule.
