Report of the Heads of State Administrations on the current situation and work plans for the near future

The working week of the PMR President began with report on the situation on the ground by the Heads of cities and regions. Institutions and enterprises operate in regular mode, the situation in all spheres of vital activity of settlements remains stable and predictable, Vadim Krasnoselsky was informed by the Heads of State Administrations.

The President, having familiarized with the reports for the past week, gave a number of recommendations and instructions. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded that for the current week a number of meetings are planned at the Presidential Executive Office of the PMR on the formation of the list of objects to be repaired and built in 2020 with funds from the Capital Investment Fund. The Heads of State Administrations will have to argue for the inclusion of one or another object in the program by presenting approximate cost estimates. The President recommended that the heads of cities and districts actively share their already gained experience in terms of simplifying and cheapening work.

Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that at the upcoming meetings the Heads will have to announce plans for ensuring public order in places of recreation for citizens. This question is particularly relevant in the period of long holidays. The President drew attention of the leaders to the fact that during the memorial week, places on the territory of the cemeteries must be provided and containers for garbage collection must be installed. The Heads of State Administrations during the next video conference will have to report on the organization of events dedicated to Easter and the celebration of Victory Day.

Improving the efficiency of patching of roads is another topic of the video conference. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention of his interlocutors to the fact that, when planning work, they are not interested in weather forecast and are starting to repair in adverse weather conditions. This adversely affects the quality, but also creates additional inconvenience for road users. “It is common practice when repairs are made before the rain. Uncovered holes stand for several days. If you dug a hole today, maximum the next day should be covered with asphalt. This can lead to accidents. If it was not possible to cover the holes the same day, it is necessary to install appropriate road signs on such sections of the route”, the President emphasized.
