The Operational Headquarters: current solutions

Growing incidence of coronavirus and the factors provoking this growth were discussed in the course of the Operational Headquarters under the PMR President. "Burning" Moldova, beginning of the school year, weakening quarantine discipline among the population were named. The President aimed at strengthening control over implementation of anti-coronavirus requirements, stepping up preventive and informational and accompanying activities, and also recommended that state authorities return to the practice of transferring at least a third of personnel to work remotely. In addition, Vadim Krasnoselsky categorically banned any kind of armchair meetings, round tables, discussion meetings, planning meetings, and so on - all working meetings are organized in the mode of videoconferences and conference calls. The Head of State also reminded of the inadmissibility of the presence of teachers and educators in educational institutions at the end of lessons (classes). It was noted in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters, that the republic continues to quarantine classes in which cases of coronavirus infection have been detected. Five classes of schools in the capital, two in Dubossary, one in Karagash, were transferred in a few days to distance learning. 14 classes are in quarantine in Rybnitsa.

Numerous requests are received by government agencies regarding the opening of nursery groups for kindergartens. The President considers that in the current circumstances it is unacceptable to expose babies to the risk of infection: if a focus of the disease is detected in groups whose pupils are less than three years old, not only children, but also their parents will have to be isolated in hospital settings. Vadim Krasnoselsky called on citizens to think primarily about the safety of family members, and members of the Operational Headquarters, who make consolidated decisions, about unlimited possibilities of the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Health and the growing burden on the budget with each new patient of COVID hospitals. Children who do not attend kindergartens due to coronavirus restrictions are provided with assistance from the state - food packages or the cash equivalent of their cost.

Special attention was paid to the Vyhvatinsy psychiatric hospital. COVID was recorded there: 24 wards and three employees were infected. An infectious disease center has been temporarily deployed on the basis of the women's department. The first case was recorded when a new patient was admitted. In this regard, the President emphasized the importance of testing citizens when admitted to medical hospitals, as well as to closed institutions. In addition, the President insists on a two-week preventive isolation of such citizens from other patients. They spoke at the meeting about infrastructure of the State Institution “Republican Psychiatric Hospital”, the building of which is located in the village of Vykhvatintsy. The deplorable state of his condition is known. The building does not correspond to the functionality, the number of patients, and sanitary standards. Options for transferring the institution to another address are being studied. Work in this direction was suspended due to the pandemic. The issue remains on the agenda.

In connection with the growing need for testing for coronavirus, the topic of organizing the study of the biomaterial of citizens using express tests of a new type remains relevant. The purchase of 200 units is expected in the near future. A larger order is being formed. The President instructed to study the expediency of equipping the relevant laboratories in various medical institutions of the republic. The Ministry of Health will report on the need and the estimated cost of purchasing the equipment.
