The military parade took place in the square named after Suvorov in Tiraspol

The Pridnestrovian Military Parade 2020 was held on jubilee scale. They used both military equipment of the middle of the last century and modern equipment in service with the Pridnestrovian army. The historical part was opened by the Tank of Victory - the legendary T-34-85, over which the Victory Banner was developed. Participants and guests of the event were reminded that the names of such armored vehicles rise on the pedestals of the memorial complexes of the settlements of Pridnestrovie. More than a hundred of these tanks stand motionless forever, as a reminder of the military glory of Soviet weapons, on memorials in cities of many CIS countries and Europe. The famous Katyusha, historical military off-road vehicles and motorcycles equipped with machine guns marched in front of the stands.

Following the legendary equipment, a subunit of graduates of the Military Institute of the PMR Ministry of Defense, dressed in the uniform of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, passed through the square. Young officers carried the standards of 13 WWII fronts past the stands. They were replaced by military personnel, employees and students of institutions and units of power ministries and departments - totally 17 subunits (more than 1200 people). The mechanized column includes about a hundred units of military equipment.

The musical accompaniment of the parade was provided by the combined military orchestra of the Ministry of Defense under the direction of the chief conductor, Chevalier of the Order "For Service to the Motherland" People's Artist of the PMR Vitaly Voinov. 40 servicemen of the Guard of Honor Company presented a new program. An absolute innovation of this year is the parade horse crew of the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Concluding the Military Parade, the Commander-in-Chief of the PMR Armed Forces Vadim Krasnoselsky came down from the rostrum to personally thank the commanders of the military units and, in their person, all the participants in the parade for their service and excellent training.
