The President provided the first half of working day to communicate with representatives of the Pridnestrovian army. Vadim Krasnoselsky visited a number of objects subordinated to the PMR Ministry of Defense. The Commander-in-Chief was accompanied by Minister. Oleg Obruchkov informed the President about the current state of affairs in the armed forces, spoke about positive changes and plans for the future. It was about the military infrastructure. The Defense Minister noted that public funds had been allocated for its improvement for the first time in many years. According to Oleg Obruchkov, servicemen, like all state employees, pin their hopes on the capital investment program. Its implementation has already made it possible to start work on a number of facilities of the PMR Ministry of Defense. The formation of lists for subsequent years continues. Taking into account limited financial capacity and significant number of infrastructure problems, it is important to prioritize correctly, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted. This is the reason for the practice of a personal visit by the President of objects intended to be included in the program of capital investments. Inspection presidential detours are not uncommon for the armed forces, noted Oleg Obruchkov.

The President visited squad rooms of one of the motorized rifle subunits. Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention to the catering department and the medical corps, noting that the living conditions, the quality of food and uniforms are important components of the effective passage of military service.

The President visited the Military Institute named after Lieutenant-General A. I. Lebed – he inspected the classrooms and the gym, watched the course of classes, talked to the doctor of the educational institution. Vadim Krasnoselsky made entry in the book of honorary visitors to the university, expressing gratitude to the officer-teachers for the training and combat training of the personnel of the armed forces. The President emphasized how great the responsibility is placed on those who prepare professional defenders of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Another educational institution, visited by the Commander-in-Chief today is the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. The President examined not only the interior, which is functioning and still being prepared for the pupils, but also paid attention to the sports campus, giving a number of recommendations regarding its improvement and equipment.

The discussion was organized on the site of the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. About 170 soldiers, cadets, pupils of the Suvorov military school gathered in the assembly hall of the school. More than two dozen issues were addressed to the President.
