There are 158 educational institutions in Pridnestrovie. 2147 pupils completed school education this year. 389 of them are holders of certificates "with honors". 289 gold and 100 silver medals were awarded in the republic in general. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about this today. Together with his wife he participates in the solemn ceremony of honoring the best graduates of schools in Rybnitsa district. The festive event was organized in the central park of the city.
The President in his welcoming and congratulatory speech noted that the district ended the year with an excellent result: 62 out of 292 graduates completed 11-year course of study with the best grades, earning 47 gold and 15 silver awards.
“You have gone through difficult path of school education, received knowledge and skills that will be important throughout your life. School is the foundation. Behind is carefree childhood, school bustle, childhood sorrows and joys, an independent adult life awaits for you. Everyone has his own path. I would like to wish everyone to make the choice that the soul prompts, to receive such an education in the future, to master such a profession that will fully reveal your abilities, your talent. I wish that you are always surrounded by worthy people, honest friends, decent mentors, leaders. Never forget school, go back. Don't forget your schoolmates and, of course, your teachers. Don't be afraid to go forward. Create. Reach new heights”, Vadim Krasnoselsky wished to the graduates.
The President, addressing the teachers, noted that the Pridnestrovian children represent their teachers and the country with dignity. Thanking for the work, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he assesses the work of Pridnestrovian teachers as “excellent”. Congratulating the parents, for whom the day of graduation is no less exciting than for the now yesterday's schoolchildren, Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked them for the good upbringing of children and urged "never to clip their wings."
For reference. There are 67 educational institutions in Rybnitsa district. 35 of them are schools or “school-kindergarten” complexes (13 urban, 22 are located in rural areas). 6262 students have successfully completed this academic year. 550 certificates were issued for obtaining basic general education (9 classes), 292 certificates (11 classes) for secondary education.
