The President with his wife took part in the festive events organized in the military camp of the Operational Group of Russian Forces in Pridnestrovie

Russian servicemen hold festive events dedicated to the Great Victory Day on the territory of the military camp of the Operational Group of Russian Forces in Pridnestrovie every year on the 9th of May. All interested people usually take part in the event, but this year only families of Russian military personnel have been invited due to still valid quarantine restrictions. Guests of honor were the PMR President with his wife.

Litiya was held at the memorial complex of the military unit for the deceased defenders and victims of fascism, which was served by the rector of the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called Father Valery.

The country's leadership, the command of the OGRV, the invited veterans of the Great Patriotic War laid a wreath and flowers to the Eternal Flame at the monument to the Unknown Soldier, the bust of Victory Marshal Georgy Zhukov, a memorial sign to peacekeepers and the legendary combat vehicle reminiscent of the feat of internationalist soldiers.

Guests of the festive events witnessed the reconstruction of the battle of the Great Patriotic War. A traditional exhibition of military equipment and weapons was organized.
