Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated the State Security Service employees

On January 1, the PMR State Security Service celebrated the day of formation. Created in 1992 as a Security Service, it changed its name and was reorganized. It was renamed the State Security Service of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in early 2018. As before, among the main tasks of the service is ensuring the security of state protection facilities and the information security of the republic, as well as participating in the fight against terrorism.

Today, a solemn meeting dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the State Service for the Protection of the PMR was held. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the event.

Last year the Head of the PMR State Security Service Vitaliy Melenchuk spoke about the activities of the PMR State Security Service and plans for the future. He focused on the high level of preparedness of existing specialists, about activities aimed at improving their skills, as well as about the technical equipment of the service. It was also about research work, the introduction of modern technologies and the achievements of employees of the State Guard Service in the sports sector. As still problematic aspects, the absence of specialized educational institutions that would train young recruiting security service specialists was highlighted.

The Head of the state security service expressed gratitude to everyone who was at the origins of creating the service, to veterans who transfer experience and knowledge to current employees - for professionalism and dedication, and also to the leadership of the republic for the measures taken for material and technical support and maintaining the combat readiness of the State service protection, support of the military personnel and their families.

Addressing the employees of the security service, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the importance of their work, said that the history of the State security service is inextricably linked with the creation, establishment and development of the state as a whole. Speaking about the activities of the security service, the President highlighted the teamwork and staff stability as distinctive features. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the PMR, Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about the continuity of generations of security officers, about respect for veterans and their active interaction with young specialists, noting that he welcomes the creation of a veteran organization of representatives of the State Security Service.

The President expressed gratitude to the personnel for the service and congratulated on the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the State Service for the Protection of the PMR. The most distinguished employees were awarded for conscientious performance of official duty and high professionalism.
