The PMR President congratulated the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa on the Day of the Episcopal Chirotony

The PMR President visited the Tiraspol Holy Exaltation Church today. Its construction is completed, but landscaping work is ongoing. The altar part is decorated in the upper church, in the lower - a festive row of the iconostasis is installed. Today, work is suspended. The church receives parishioners and guests. Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa celebrates a significant event - the day of Episcopal Chirotony. Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to congratulate him and take part in the festive service.

Congratulating Vladyka Sawa on the 24th anniversary of the Episcopal Chirotony, the PMR President expressed his gratitude to the hero of the occasion for the faith and service of the Russian Orthodox Church in general and the Tiraspol and Dubossary diocese in particular.

The President addressed all the parishioners with words of congratulations: today Orthodox Christians honor the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky and his son Daniel of Moscow, the patrons of the army and all the defenders of the fatherland. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that it was on this day 11 years ago that the first service was held at that moment in the ruins of the Alexander Nevsky Church, located in the vicinity of the Bendery Fortress. Today, the park of the same name is laid out around the church, attracting more and more people who join the Orthodox culture. The night before there was an all-night vigil, led by the Metropolitan of the Orthodox Church of Moldova Vladimir. Today, the Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova participated in the festive divine liturgy held in the Holy Cross Exaltation Church that is under construction.
